SUNNYVALE, CA, Sept. 12, 2000---SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq: SNDK) and EMusic.com (Nasdaq: EMUS) announced today that the two companies have developed an agreement to offer consumers 12 free MP3 song titles with the purchase of SanDisk CompactFlash™ (CF™), SmartMedia™ and MultiMediaCard memory cards and ImageMate™ card readers.

Beginning in September, SanDisk will be including a coupon with shipments of SanDisk CompactFlash, SmartMedia and MultiMediaCard memory cards and ImageMate reader products to the retail channel. Each coupon will entitle the user to download 12 free MP3 songs from EMusic: six pre-selected songs and a credit for six tracks of their own choice. EMusic's catalog of over 125,000 MP3s offers music from established, 'signed' musicians in many different genres -- from blues and country to rock, hip hop and alternative.
