SanDisk Flash Memory Cards Will Capture And Store Images In New Easy To Use Entertainment System

SUNNYVALE, CA, May 15, 2001 - SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) announced today that Konica Photo Imaging has selected SanDisk's CompactFlash™ cards for its SnapShare™ digital photo studio system. An 8-megabyte (MB) SanDisk CompactFlash card will be included with each Konica SnapShare system.

The Konica e-mini-M digital still camera with integrated MP3 player is a key part of the SnapShare system, which also includes a Hewlett-Packard color scanner, Corel image-editing software, Konica QP Inkjet paper and Internet access from AT&T WorldNet Service. The Konica SnapShare system is available now at a suggested retail price of $299.

SanDisk CompactFlash cards are rugged, reusable, matchbook-sized storage cards that are available in capacities ranging from 8 to 512MB, with suggested retail prices starting at $34.99.
