Jeff Kost, director of Americas OEM sales at SanDisk, said, "We are excited about the future prospects for expanding the CompactFlash market by leveraging our valued partnership with Xilinx. They looked into various storage options and chose SanDisk CompactFlash for its scalability, reliability and the fact that it is an industry standard-key factors for this market segment. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship."

The Xilinx System ACE CF configuration solution includes a standard, removable CompactFlash card and uses an industry-standard FAT file system to store and manage multiple configuration bitstreams and supporting files, which enables design engineers using FPGAs to develop one system to serve many purposes.
